At the very south of Corsica is Bonifacio - a town whose old center sits atop and against the edge of a massive rock, some 80 meters above the sea. It is quite a climb up from the port.
From several sides you can admire Bonifacio from a distance and it is all equally beautiful. This picture shows how close the houses are built to the edge of the cliff. The picture was taken from sea level.
