About ‘Boat at night’ by Wandersti

This is an illustration of a boat at sea.

You can only see part of the boat. The boat is just approaching, so to speak, from the right.

The boat is shrouded in darkness, the background is completely black. So you can assume that the boat 's sailing at night. The dark background also makes the scene come across as somewhat mysterious. Who is in the boat? What is the boat's destination?

It is a very simple and straightforward illustration. As a result, it does exude peace and serenity.

I initially created the drawing like all my drawings on drawing paper. In this case, I used metallic brush pens on black drawing paper. I then digitised my drawing and converted it into a vector. This made the lines of the drawing even tighter and the colours nice and even and without blemishes.

This would make a nice wall decoration in a modern interior, but it would also be a perfect addition to an industrial environment. In a waiting room, bar or other commercial building, this would also be a nice wall decoration.

I can also see this piece hanging perfectly in a bedroom because of its calming atmosphere.

A wall decoration does not always have to look complex, simplicity can also be beautiful!

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
