About ‘Blue sea at night’ by Karin Riethoven
Sea spark is a rare natural phenomenon that occurs at night after a few warm days. In the North Sea near Katwijk this can be seen more and more often. The blue colour comes from algae that light up when moving. The red lights in the distance come from windmills.
