Blue icebergs at Lake Jökulsárlón in Iceland.
The blue ice of glacial lake Jökulsárlón is so stunning it will take your breath away. The lake is surrounded by the huge foothills of the Vatnajöjull glacier, one of the largest in Europe. Large chunks of ice continuously break off from the Breiðamerkurjökull, part of that huge glacier, and they end up in glacial lake Jökulsárlón.
Those big, sharp chunks float aimlessly across the lake, melting and breaking apart, which makes the lake look different all the time. Once the sun starts shining, the ice turns bluer than blue, creating a magical effect
