When it slowly gets dark and the city lights start to glow, it's the right time for atmospheric pictures! In the "blue hour", when the sky still appears blue, there is a beautiful colour contrast to the orange-yellow lights of the city.
This light mood only lasts for a short time, only a few moments later the sky turns black and night falls. Lier has a lot to offer photographically: the beautiful facades of the Baroque and Renaissance houses, as well as the Hoogbrug, are subtly reflected in the Nete. The picture was taken on a calm winter's day, there was no wind and so the water was also calm, making the perfect reflection possible.
