About ‘Blue hour mill’ by Gerard Stasse Fotografie

Friday morning! I was free and hoping for a beautiful sunrise that morning! So I got out of bed, looked out of the window and saw that it was foggy and windless! So I got dressed, had a quick meal, took a thermos of coffee and got in the car! And so I ended up at the Ammer Quay!

It was windless, it was foggy, it was very foggy! The sun had no chance to get through the fog to make it a beautiful sunrise. The Fog was simply too thick!

But, we photographers don't let ourselves off the hook so easily and so make something of it according to how the conditions are. And so two beautiful shots came out of which this is one. The other will also be posted soon. Because it was wind still you get a nice reflection in the water and the lights in the mill and on the shed create the atmosphere in this picture.

So I was able to enjoy this morning even though there was little colour in the sky.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
