Born in France, Beatrice Chauville walked a double path: she was a young mother and worked for an art gallery in Burgundy in the late 1970s. In the early 1980s, she moved to Salernes (southern France) to work in the capital of ceramics to design patterns and make ceramics. Alongside her profession as an art ceramist, she continued her contemporary painting for more than 20 years.
