About the artwork

A blood-red moon has always stirred the imagination of man. In Norse mythology, the wolf Hati chases the moon god Mani across the sky. On Ragnarok, the day the world ends, the moon is caught up and devoured. The splattered blood darkens the sun. In Chinese mythology, it is a celestial dragon that approaches the earth to devour it. In ancient Egypt, a lunar eclipse was considered an evil omen. The god Seth strikes out one of his two holy eyes in a duel with the god Horus. In European mythology, it is rather witches who celebrate a coven during a lunar eclipse, turning the full moon blood-red with their witchcraft. The photo of this blood red moon is characterized by high sharpness and great detail in the area of the lunar craters. This photo as a mural or poster, as wall wallpaper or photo wallpaper is an eye-catcher in the office, at home and in rooms with public traffic such as waiting room or practice.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
