Bleskensgraaf, an idyllic village in the South Holland Alblasserwaard along the river Graafstroom, where life seems to have stood still. The village exudes tranquillity and with the beautiful polder landscape surrounding it, it makes a wonderful place to live or take a bike ride there.
This nostalgic black-and-white photo overlooking the mill "the Friendship" located along the Graafstroom river shows a nice peaceful place where it is good to be.
The photo was taken early in the morning during a misty morning.
The picture also shows a horse being taken from the pasture to the stable. Together with the typical Dutch mill along the Graafstroom river, this black-and-white photo gives a rustic image of how things used to be. Time seems to have stood still in this photo.
This photo could hang beautifully on your wall and to know what it will look like, you can download the "Werk aan de muur App" on your mobile phone. Then, when you take a picture of where you want to hang this picture, my photo will be projected on your wall, as if it were really hanging there. Handy.
By using the App, you can instantly see how this asset can beautify your interior.
