About the artwork

Bleskensgraaf, an idyllic village in the South Holland Alblasserwaard along the river Graafstroom, where life seems to have stood still. The village exudes tranquillity and with the beautiful polder landscape surrounding it, it makes a wonderful place to live or take a bike ride there.
This nostalgic black-and-white photo overlooking the mill "the Friendship" located along the Graafstroom river shows a nice peaceful place where it is good to be.
The photo was taken early in the morning during a misty morning.
The picture also shows a horse being taken from the pasture to the stable. Together with the typical Dutch mill along the Graafstroom river, this black-and-white photo gives a rustic image of how things used to be. Time seems to have stood still in this photo.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
