The idyllic village of Oberharmersbach is located in the central Black Forest in the Harmersbach Valley. The village is characterised by traditional Black Forest architecture with half-timbered houses and typical Black Forest farms scattered along the slopes.
The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities to experience nature: well-signposted hiking and cycling trails lead through forests, meadows and to magnificent vantage points. Popular destinations include the view from the Brandenkopf, the idyllic chapels along the way or themed trails such as the Harmersbacher Vesperweg. The region also has a lot to offer culturally with customs, festivals and Black Forest specialities.
