Birch avenue in summer – trees of light

by AidasignArt

This landscape painting depicts a scene bathed in summer light, in which birch trees, often referred to as "trees of light," stand majestically in rows along a gently curving path. The slightly impasto painting style gives the tree trunks and foliage a tangible texture that intensifies the play of light and shadow on their bark.

The perspective is subtly chosen from bottom to top, guiding the viewer's gaze along the treetops to the bright blue sky, interrupted only by a few delicate clouds. On the left in the background, the view opens up to a coniferous forest, whose dark, deep green forms a harmonious contrast to the light birch trees. On the right, a deciduous forest is visible in the distance, further expanding the scene spatially and balancing the composition.

The path between the trees invites not only visual but also imaginary exploration – it acts as a silent transition between the different types of forest and at the same time as a connection between nature and light. Each brushstroke conveys the lightness of summer, the gentle rustling of the leaves and the calm serenity of the landscape. The painting invites you to pause, discover the subtle nuances of light and colour, and let yourself be carried away by the harmonious symphony of trees, sky and path into the vastness of nature.
