The artwork shows an architectural detail of the Paul Löbe Building in Berlin's government district. The focus is on the modern glass façade with its clear lines, metallic structures and generous window areas. The slightly tilted perspective lends the picture a dynamic composition, while the sky with scattered clouds in the background forms a natural contrast to the technical rigour of the architecture.
The inspiration for this work was an examination of political architecture as an expression of transparency and functionality. The Paul Löbe House is an example of the functional, open design of the government district. I was particularly interested in how these principles are reflected in the façade - in form, material and rhythm.
With this picture I want to create a calm, focussed atmosphere. It invites reflection on order, design and the role of public buildings in urban space. The reduced colour scheme and clear structure support this effect.
In interior design, this work acts as a modern, architectural accent. It is particularly suitable for minimalist or design-orientated spaces and brings a functional but expressive component to living or working areas - ideal for environments where clarity and structure are valued.
