There is a very distinct atmosphere in this abandoned care facility; the bed that is still made certainly contributes to this. The feeling that in this bed someone was being nursed who needed proper care, someone who might have had to stay here for a long time. A bit dreary perhaps, but still beautiful. Now the room and the bed are in disrepair, the paint is peeling off the walls, the floor is dirty, and the bedding is damp. But once this was a beautiful room, the colours on the walls are soft pastels, and the floor has a chequered pattern, it will have felt homely here. The room is bright and spacious, overlooking the landscape around the dilapidated building. In this picture, I have tried to capture the atmosphere of yesteryear, and the beautiful light falling in through the windows. If, like me, you love decay, then this is a very nice mood photo for your interior!
