About "Beautiful young woman kneeling on a platform of water lilies"

About the artwork

A magical-realist fairy tale of a beautiful woman, a forest nymph, who searches for light and hope in the dark forest. She meets the moon who radiates light and warmth to her. This fairy tale of 8 different images was created out of fantasy, prompted by books and movies such as "Under the spell of the Ring" and "Her Dark Materials". The colors are magical blue, mysterious green and yellow of gold. The entire series was created as exam work for the photography course. The inspiration for these artworks are based on a number of fascinations such as nature and forest photography and portrait photography. The editing of these images took several months and consisted on the one hand of coming up with the story (landfill count) , taking the photos of the model on location and finally bringing all the elements together in a catchy and fitting image. The photograph, in other words. During graduation, these works were printed on fine-art paper with a structure of linen and cotton that give the image an extra dimension making the scene come alive.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
