Terschelling's beach looks endless and pristine. The sky reaches far, stretching out in soft pastel shades and flowing seamlessly into the North Sea.
In the distance, you can see a slight row of dunes, with the occasional walker almost disappearing into the landscape. The texture of the sand, the reflecting water and the clouds slowly passing by create a composition that breathes.
Everything is in balance; light, space and rhythm. This scene invites one to stillness, to breathe, to let go for a moment. The simplicity of the landscape leaves room for your own thoughts. It is a place that feels at once grand and intimate. The atmosphere is bright, but not bright; open, but not empty.
Those who love the North Sea, vastness and natural colours will find a sense of coming home in this sculpture.
