Barendrecht: lone tree Carnisse Grienden

by Ad Van Koppen Fotografie

A lone tree in the Carnisse Grienden near Barendrecht. This image is all about tranquillity, space and simplicity: one subject, lots of breath around it. As a result, it works as wall decoration that does not overpower, but gives character. The composition is deliberately kept minimalist, with attention to form and balance. Your gaze lingers for a moment each time, without becoming crowded.

This picture fits well in interiors where you want to keep calm: above a sofa, next to a dining table, in a hallway or in a quiet workplace. This kind of image also does well in an office space, as it gives atmosphere without distractions. It is also a fine choice if you like nature close to home and places where you can walk and get a breath of fresh air, such as the Carnisse Grienden.

Preferably choose a format that supports the emptiness and silence of the image. At larger sizes, the simplicity often stands out better. The material and finish mainly determine whether you keep the sculpture clean and modern or give it a warmer feel.
