A row of bare elms stands in the water. on the downed two trees sit cormorants. It is a windless day in late summer and the surface of the water is mirror-smooth. Dark clouds hang over the area. The photo was taken at the edge of the Crezéepolder, a piece of tidal nature owned by Zuid-Hollands Landschap between Ridderkerk and Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht bordering the North River.
