In this work you see a ballet dancer. She is making graceful movements. It looks like she is dancing outside in the wind. Her long hair and her dress are blown to the right. This could also be because she has made a priority move and is now looking for her balance again. This work is executed in taupe shades. The color is digitally applied. The original is a charcoal drawing. The robust charcoal lines are still clearly visible, as are the sketched pencil lines. By intentionally leaving these lines in place, there is an additional dinamics to this artwork.
From a blank sheet to an imaginative sketch or drawing — that’s what I enjoy most about creating my artwork.
I also find it inspiring to think that my wall decorations can bring joy to others.
