Hanksville, a small mining town in the heart of Utah. For work I had to be in Salt Lake City and luckily I had a few days to myself to go out. Now that is always a treat in Utah and this time I had decided to head down to central Utah. Now driving in Utah is no punishment anyway because there is so much beauty to see. Because of the time difference with the Netherlands, it was no problem to set off early so that I would arrive at my destination before sunrise.
Around Hanksville you can find some special places like the "Moonscape Overlook", the "Long Don Silver" and, as seen here, beautiful coloured abstract landscapes that are especially spectacular when seen from the air.
For this shot, I used my Drone, a DJI mini4 Pro. The aerial perspective is a unique tool for me as a photographer to take unique photos that I could never have taken with my camera.
Of course, I edit these shots at home, where I spend the necessary time to make this shot suitable for your wall.
