About ‘Badger garlic at sunrise’ by Ruud Engels
To photograph this ramson (Alium Usinum) in spring with morning sunlight, my alarm clock had to beep.
Badger garlic is a strongly scented plant that only blooms for a very short time, but then is very photogenic to capture.
The fallen trees and branches give a nice depth to the picture.

Esch, Netherlands
I am Ruud Engels and live in the Burgundian province of Noord-Brabant.
Since 2010 I have found my passion in photography.
Landscape photography and nature photography are my favorite subjects to capture. The beautiful morning and evening hours, but also the night hours offer wonderful options to photograph.
Both with my SLR camera and with my drone I try to capture the landscapes.
