About the artwork

The B-2 Spirit is an American strategic bomber with stealth technology (stealth bomber) for intercontinental distances. The aircraft is capable of dropping both conventional and nuclear weapons. It has a shape which for that time seemed unique, but was previously used by Nazi Germany in the construction of the Horten Ho 229.

The B2 is equipped with technology (such as special radar-absorbing paint) that makes the aircraft virtually invisible on radar.

The U.S. Air Force first planned to buy a large number of these aircraft from aircraft manufacturer Northrop. Eventually, by the end of the Cold War in the early 90s, only 21 aircraft were purchased. Due to the high already spent development costs and the drastically reduced number of aircraft, the price per aircraft rose to over 2 billion dollars. This means that the aircraft is literally worth its weight in gold.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
