About "Awaken my soul painting grey shades of passion man and woman"

About the artwork

Awaken my soul, that is the name of this painting I painted in many shades of grey. Full of passion, they touch each other longingly in search of that intense connection to their souls.
By playing with the almost white and light grey paint strokes of her that light up against his body, which is a shade darker in colour, on a dynamic warm grey background, the movements and body shapes stand out, as if they really become tangible. This work belongs to a series of paintings I am making called Shades of Grays . I made this specific work to accompany a poem by Geke Maes, a Dutch writer of poems and quotes. To put her collection in the spotlight, I and several other artists were allowed to make a work that will be presented during the art route of the Amai awards 2024 on 30 March in Parktheater Eindhoven.
You know that feeling, that you feel so numb, you miss that sparkle deep in your soul, you feel something while you feel nothing at all.... and suddenly... you make contact... and hope... and long deeply for this connection to awaken your soul... that is the feeling I wanted to portray with her text ; Take me, rock hard, as I am.
It's a painting full of passion which certainly comes into its own in a bold adult interior.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
