Aviation légère de l'armée de Terre SA-342M Gazelle.
The Aérospatiale Gazelle is a five-seat helicopter, developed and initially produced by the French company Sud Aviation and later by Aérospatiale. It is a light helicopter developed mainly for reconnaissance.
The Gazelle was developed in the late '60s, with the first aircraft entering service in 1971. Nearly 1,800 aircraft of it have been built and have flown with various air forces.
This helicopter in the picture is from the French unit Escadrille d'Hélicoptères de Reconnaissance et d'Attaque n°3 at Etain-Rouvres airbase in France. The aircraft features an attractive tiger livery and was one of the participants in the NATO Tiger Meet 2024.
