This is the pond of botanical garden De Dwarsgouw in Purmerend. This is a semi-wild park that has been managed by the IVN Waterland (Institute for Nature Education and Maintenance) since 1989. De Dwarsgouw has several small biotopes with landscapes that can be found in the Waterland region. So forests, meadows, swamps, ponds and more. This pond was beautiful during a beautiful autumn day in 2020. I actually came for mushrooms, but it was still a bit too early. I did find this beautiful autumn image instead though.
