About ‘Autumn coat of ink.’ by Shana Kersten

There comes an evening in November when autumn takes off her daycoat and slowly envelops herself in a cloak of pure, deep ink.
She starts at the last vestige of sky blue, which tries to stay for a while, but soon it gets darker, heavier, more nocturnal.
Then a ghostly glow glides over it, like soot from a fireplace that has burned too long, orange bleeding into purple, purple bleeding into black.
The cloak falls heavy and soft at the same time.
It smells of wet leaves, of burnt cloves, of red wine forgotten on the table.
He wraps himself around your shoulder without you asking and whispers "stay a while. It's not quite night yet."

This work is that cloak.
A warm dark embrace of colours that no longer want to shine, only glow, from within, like a secret too beautiful to say out loud.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
