Altaussee Charm: Wooden Romance in the Salzkammergut

This atmospheric photo takes you into the traditional architecture of Altaussee, a picturesque village on the lake of the same name in Austria's Salzkammergut region (Styria). The picture is dominated by a row of charming houses in the typical Alpine style, richly executed in wood and featuring ornate balconies and dark roofs.

The composition is dynamic, with the dense, ivy-covered house on the left providing a dark frame for the warmer, honey-coloured houses on the right. The season is clearly autumn, with leaves and shrubs in beautiful, muted shades of green and yellow. Through the vista between the houses, you catch a glimpse of a church tower and the contours of the mountains in the distance, emphasising its Alpine location.

This is a beautiful, warm and detailed image that exudes the tranquillity and traditional beauty of an Austrian mountain village, perfect for anyone who loves architecture, travelling and a cosy atmosphere.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
