Australia National Park travel poster by Vlindertuin-Art

With this atmospheric retro travel poster, you can bring the ultimate sense of adventure and boundless horizons into your home.

The artwork beautifully captures the impressive diversity of Australia’s natural landscape on a single wall: from iconic red rock formations such as the Outback and vast eucalyptus forests to an idyllic coastline with gleaming white surf and a solitary lighthouse in the distance.
In the foreground, a traveller with a rucksack, accompanied by a curious kangaroo, walks along a winding path that immediately invites you to dream of faraway journeys. Perfect for anyone who wants to enrich their interior with a touch of wanderlust.

The colour palette strikes a harmonious balance between warm, earthy tones and fresh, natural shades. Deep terracotta, rust-brown and soft sand dominate the landscape and blend beautifully with the vibrant blue-green of the ocean and the subtle pastel shades in the sky. This warm and inviting colour combination brings tranquillity and character to the wall, and blends effortlessly with both modern and bohemian interior styles.

The tradition of the travel poster originated in the late nineteenth century, but reached its absolute heyday in the 1930s. Governments and transport companies commissioned artists to design posters intended to spark the imagination of travel.
