Despite the necessary light pollution in the Netherlands, the Northern Lights can still be seen around some places. On a sand drift near national park the Hoge Veluwe, this image was photographed. The aurora borealis is usually seen in the colour pink in the Netherlands. The beautiful pillars dance in the sky. The clear sky is dotted with stars. This image was obviously photographed with a wide-angle lens and a slow shutter speed while the camera is on a tripod
The large green tree in the left foreground adds interest to the composition and gives the image depth. The contrast and colours make for a unique picture that you can hang anywhere in your home or office.
