About ‘Aurora Netherlands, Northern lights Netherlands’ by Corrine Ponsen

Because there is an 11-year cycle on the sun of high activity, there are regular large solar flares on the sun in 2024 and 2025. This means that material that is earthbound is causing the beautiful colours of the Northern Lights, also known as Aurora borealis. In the Netherlands we often see the colour pink and purple, further north, Scandinavia for example, you see more colours. Then green is much more common. With a bit of luck, you see the entire colour spectrum pass by.
And in the Netherlands it is often only visible photographically, you can see the pillars but not so clearly the colours. That doesn't make it any less spectacular.

This is just a nice photo of a landscape in Utrecht. The trees give a nice composition and the blue and starry sky are beautiful and clearly present. Super cool to hang in the living room or bedroom.

There is a lot of acitvity at the sun in the year 2024 and 2025. Thats why you can see the Northern lights more often in the Netherlands. The colours are amazing in this pictorial. The pink curtain in the blue sky is very beautiful in this picture.
The green trees are there for a nice composition.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
