About the artwork

This impressive coastal panorama takes us to one of the many, partly still undiscovered beaches of the Alentejo in Portugal. The rugged cliffs drop steeply to the golden-coloured sand, while the waves of the Atlantic break rhythmically and calmly on the shore. Two surfers stand on a rocky outcrop and look out over the water - ready for the next wave, but also simply in tune with the moment.

The Alentejo is a region of contrasts: rough and gentle at the same time, powerful and quiet. This is exactly what this picture captures - with a clarity and depth that invites you to dream. The colours are strong but natural: the blue of the sky and sea, the warm ochre of the cliffs, the lush green of the vegetation. Nothing seems staged here - everything is authentic.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
