Artistic Still Life in Alcohol Ink: Autumn Branch with Blackberries

by Studio Pieternel

● Exclusive design for Werk aan de Muur / Art Heroes

Bring the vibrant autumn colours and the organic, fluid aesthetic of alcohol ink into your home with this atmospheric, artistic still life. The design features a gracefully branched twig, richly laden with berries and leaves, capturing the essence of autumn.

The leaves range in shades from warm orange and rustic brown to deep copper and subtle ochre, and are outlined with delicate golden edges. The round clusters of berries in vibrant terracotta and rust colours add depth and texture.

This unique piece utilises the distinctive properties of alcohol ink. The background features a dynamic interplay of fluid, abstract forms and subtle washes in warm amber, gold, cream white and earthy sienna tones.

This creates a dreamlike and organic texture reminiscent of washed marble or pressed parchment. The blend of recognisable botanical forms and the unpredictable, fluid ink wash strikes a perfect balance between tranquillity and movement.

The design fits perfectly with the popular modern-rustic, Japandi and Wabi-Sabi interior trends, which centre on natural materials, imperfection and serenity.

This artwork is available in almost any size, and there is a choice of many high-quality finishes, such as: wallpaper, canvas, ArtFrame, aluminium, acrylic glass and photo print.
