About the artwork

Arnhem Centraal Station is the central railway station of the city of Arnhem, the capital of the Dutch province of Gelderland.
The station is an important hub in the eastern Netherlands and in rail traffic with Düsseldorf (D), Utrecht, Zwolle, Nijmegen, Tiel and the Achterhoek. Moreover, it is an interchange hub for city and regional transport in central Gelderland.
The current station building is the fourth station at that location. This building, designed by Ben van Berkel, was completed in 2015.
Arnhem Centraal was the 14th largest station in the Netherlands in passenger numbers in 2016, with about 40,000 NS trains boarding and disembarking each day (not counting passengers from other rail carriers).

The structure supporting the scaled roof, christened by the architect "The Fronttwist" popularly called "The Wokkel".

The platforms are accessed via a corridor/hallway under the tracks, with an entrance on the south side, and on the west side via a traverse above the tracks, with an entrance on the north side (Sonsbeek side).

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
