The Arctic Cathedral (Norwegian: Ishavskatedralen) is located in the Tromsdalen district of the Norwegian town of Tromsø. Contrary to what the name suggests, it is not a cathedral but a church. The building is made of concrete, which is clad with aluminium on the outside and has a glass facade on both the front and back. The design symbolizes the icebergs, the aurora and the polar nights.
