Detail of the TU Delft combined heat and power plant. The boiler house is the first post-war purely functionalist TH building. It provided the university buildings with heating. The two boilers are so large that they were put in place before the concrete structure around them was erected. The building was designed by the architectural firm Van Den Broek & Bakema. 1952-1957. By converting it to black and white, I was able to give the photo a graphic character.
