About the artwork

Picturesque shots of apple blossom. With soft tones and beautiful hazy backgrounds where colours subtly blend together.
Apples have a long history in my family; my grandfather used to grow and trade them. Hence perhaps my love for this fruit. But it is not just the apple that is so special (˜"an apple a day keeps the doctor away..") The blossom too is breathtakingly beautiful. With shades of white and pink, it is a jewel in the landscape or, like mine, in the garden. Especially for its beautiful blossom, I bought a small tree. After a year, it was already full of those little flowers. Needless to say, I had to take pictures of them. With a special macro lens (to take close-up pictures), I portrayed these beauties. My intention was to capture the delicacy of this little flower as well as possible. And every time I see the result I am delighted with it! Each image shows how fragile and delicate these little flowers are. What a wealth of our nature; from a beautiful blossom to a delicious apple!
With its neutral and soft tones, this picture fits into any interior.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
