About "Appearance"

About the artwork

Walking in this forest of a very foggy winter morning was eerie to say the least. This forest is believed to be haunted and in normal conditions this feels like nonsense, but walking there, getting lost at times and finding my way back again felt like I was being watched. At one point a woman with her dog crossed the path and she said : I am positively scared today and I always come here. I was uncomfortable but also intrigued. The old beeches looked alive. I had never been able to create a good image in this forest, but with this dense fog, which was haunting at times, but still and serene as well, the trees looked like they had never done before. Only in winter could this tree look so animated with its magnificent branches leaning over the path. I never found this spot back again after I captured this.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
