The Antwerp Centraal railway station, built in 1899, is an architectural highlight! This picture is a long exposure, which makes it possible to make the many passengers, who mainly use the large staircase, invisible in the picture. In order to be able to capture as much as possible of this wonderful architecture, a wide-angle lens with a short focal length was used. The high contrasts, the various light sources and also the strong spotlights shining directly into the lens make it photographically very difficult to create a balanced picture. With a lot of meticulousness, this was achieved here, resulting in a large-format printable photo....
