Antonín Procházka (1882-1945) was a Czech painter, graphic artist and set designer who is considered one of the leading figures of Czech modernism. He was a member of the artists' group "Osma" (The Eight), which was strongly influenced by Cubism and Expressionism. Procházka experimented with various styles, including Symbolism and Futurism, and later developed his own Cubist-Expressionist approach. His works are characterised by bold colours, geometric shapes and a dynamic composition. In addition to painting, he was also known for his stained glass and monumental murals.
