Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘Antigua: Iglesia y Convento de la Compañía de Jesús’ by Maarten Verhees

De kerk en het klooster van de Sociëteit van Jezus in Antigua is een religieus complex dat werd gebouwd tussen 1690 en 1698. Het werd gebouwd op een blok dat slechts 325 meter verwijderd is van de kathedraal van Sint-Jacobus op een stuk dat ooit toebehoorde aan de familie van beroemde kroniekschrijver Bernal Díaz del Castillo en had drie kloostervleugels en een kerk. Er waren maar een maximum van 13 jezuïetenpriesters op een gegeven moment in het gebouw, maar ze hielden ook Jezuïet broeders en seculiere studenten. In het gebouw was de San Lucas School of the Society of Jesus, totdat de Jezuïeten in 1767 uit de Spaanse koloniën werden verdreven.
