Al van jong af aan is Marjolein bezig met vormgeven. Ze gaat naar het St. Lucas waar ze afstudeert in de richting 2D vormgeving en styling. Na een reis door Australië raakt ze geïnspireerd door de streetart die ze daar maar ook in de reizen daarna fotografeert. En verwerkt dit in haar werk.
