About the artwork

Picture of the Koppelpoort in Amersfoort at night An evening photo of The Koppelpoort is a double city gate in Amersfoort. It is a combination of a land and water gate. The name is probably derived from the East Middle Dutch word coppel meaning common meadow (also called meent). The area outside the gate was a common area and was called the Koppel. It is assumed that the gate was named after this area. So the name presumably does not indicate that the gate has two functions. The Koppel gate is lit by artificial light and the photo was taken with a long shutter speed. I used a painting by Anton Pieck as an example of this photo. As a personal touch, I added evening photography. Something Antond prefers to use the winter theme. The gate was built between 1380 and 1425 as part of the second city wall,[1] with the entire wall completed around 1450. The gate was attacked in 1427 during the siege of the city. This attack was repulsed.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
