Along the shores of Lake Louise by Expedition Columbus

You can only truly appreciate the scale of the Canadian wilderness once you’ve laced up your walking boots. We captured this impressive scene during our hike along the shores of the iconic Lake Louise in Banff National Park. As you walk towards the glacier at the end of the valley, you’re surrounded by sheer limestone cliffs and the immense peaks of the Rocky Mountains.

In this photograph, you can see the glacial lake displaying its characteristic deep turquoise and mint-green colours. On the right-hand side, an adventurous footpath winds its way along the steep rock face, flanked by dense pine trees. The contrast between the mirror-smooth, serene water and the rugged, layered texture of the mountains lends the composition a tremendous sense of depth. The gently cloudy sky creates a beautiful, diffused light that perfectly balances the natural colours.

This artwork brings the pure, active outdoor spirit and the monumental power of Canada straight into your home. The vibrant shades of green and blue bring freshness and energy to your interior, whilst the sweeping landscape exudes tranquillity. An absolute must-have for walkers, mountaineers and nature lovers who appreciate an interior with a rugged and adventurous character. Will you join us on this journey?
