I took this photo in an abandoned villa in Italy. A beautiful home, with lots of furniture and belongings left behind by its last occupants. The composition is a representation of how I feel at that moment and over the past few months. Quite lonely, and alone. Visiting this location was part of a road trip through Italy that I took alone, with my thoughts and emotions. This has a therapeutic effect. Everything is temporary, and it really does get better.
