The picture shows a close-up of an allium flower of the purple sensation variety. The spherical flower is made up of numerous small, star-shaped individual blossoms that shine in a vibrant purple colour. The dense arrangement of the flowers creates an almost sculptural effect, which is further emphasised by the clear focus and the reduced background.
The inspiration for this picture was the unusual structure of this plant. I was interested in how geometric order and natural diversity are combined in a single inflorescence. The aim was to visualise this balance - without staging, solely through perspective, light and proximity.
The atmosphere I want to create with this work is calm and focussed. It invites you to focus on details that are easily overlooked in everyday life - a visual pause.
In interior design, this picture acts as a graphic element with botanical origins. Particularly in modern, clearly designed rooms, it brings colour, structure and a subtle dynamic - a floral motif with a timeless presence and design clarity.
