About the artwork

In the centre of this city in North Holland stands this church, this church building.

The Grote Sint-Laurenskerk, formerly the Grote or Sint-Laurenskerk, is a church building at Koorstraat 2 in Alkmaar. It is a brick cross basilica clad in natural stone with a seven-sided chancel. The construction took place from 1470 to 1518. The church has four stair towers and contains the oldest playable church organ in the Netherlands. The originally Catholic church became Protestant in 1573 and has not had a religious function since 1996. It houses a museum about the history of the building.

Lithograph of Johan Otto Hanrath (Amsterdam, Holland, Netherlands, April 8, 1882 - Groesbeek, Gelderland, September 13, 1944). The maker was a Dutch artist. He was one of the founders of the artists association De Brug (1926) and worked at that time in the style of the new zakelijkheid. He was also a member of the De Onafhankelijken, Sint Lucas and 'Arti'. Using the pseudonym Maximnoff, he also wrote several plays.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
