Aerospace Maintenance And Regeneration Group (AMARG).
The Aerospace Maintenance And Regeneration Group (AMARG) is a group of special facilities of the United States Air Force.
309th AMARG is an organization that manages an inventory of thousands of aircraft and some spacecraft from the USAF, US Navy, USMC, US Army, USCG and NASA.
Duties of 309th AMARG are:
storing "in mothballs" of aircraft;
restoration and airworthiness of all kinds of aircraft;
performing programmed aircraft maintenance at depot level;
reprocessing, technical inspection and delivery of all kinds of spare parts under official warranty conditions; and aircraft storage and scrapping facility.
Pictured are mainly F-16s but also 2 F-4 Phantoms, part of a General Dynamics RB-57F (63-13291) and two B-57 bombers.
