The Reußenstein ruins are the ruins of a rock castle above Neidlingen, exactly on the border between the districts of Esslingen and Göppingen in Baden-Württemberg. The Reußenstein is a popular destination for climbers and hikers and is one of the most visited castles in the Swabian Alb. The wide-angle shot shows the castle ruins sitting on the steeply sloping rock with a view from above of the steeply sloping autumnal, colourful woodland in the Neidlingen valley and the adjacent plateau of the Swabian Alb at the top.
