Aerial photo of Terschelling The source of this imagery is from the 2017 Land Registry aerial photo dataset. It is a collage of aerial photos that have been founded and post-processed in photoshop. As a result, it has a very high resolution and individual buildings are visible. The very wide ratio of this work lends itself perfectly to panoramas. Terschelling is one of the Wadden Islands in the Netherlands and is located in the North Sea, northwest of the province of Friesland. The island is about 17 km long and 5 km wide and has a permanent population of about 5,000 people. Terschelling is known for its beautiful nature, including wide sandy beaches, dunes and forests. The island is also a popular tourist destination, with plenty of accommodation, restaurants and activities. Visitors can enjoy hiking, cycling, horse riding, bird watching and water sports. Terschelling is also home to the world-famous Oerol Festival, an annual theatre and arts festival that takes place in June.
