The source of this image is from the Land Registry's aerial photo dataset of the year 2017. It is a collage of Aerial photos that have been stitiched and post-processed in photoshop. As a result, it has a very high resolution and individual buildings are well visible.
Goeree-Overflakkee is an island in the Dutch province of South Holland and located at the mouth of the river Maas. It is surrounded by Lake Grevelingen in the south and the Haringvliet in the north. The North Sea is stopped in the south by the Delta Works, through the Brouwersdam the island is connected to Neeltje Jans and Schouwen-Duivenland. Some major villages are: Stellendam, Ouddorp, Middelharnis and Oude-Tonge.The island is known for its beautiful beaches and dunes, as well as its historic towns and villages filled with traditional Dutch houses and cosy terraces. Goeree-Overflakkee is also rich in nature and offers numerous walking and cycling routes along the water, through the dunes and along the polders. There are also several nature reserves on the island, such as the Brouwersdam Nature Reserve and the St Anna ter Muiden Nature Reserve, where visitors can enjoy the rich biodiversity and spectacular sea views.
