These wild Camargue horses were photographed galloping in a lake of the Camargue (southern France). It was chosen to shoot very early in the morning so that there is very nice light. Camargue horses are characterised as a very strong temperamental breed. They have dark brown foals that take three to four years to turn into these beautiful white horses. I photographed these horses very intensively over a full week in the Camargue. Be sure to check out my other images of these Camargue horses.
